Local music veterans and tireless promoters Danielle Lo Presti and Alicia Champion are at it again. San Diego Indiefest 8 is slated to return to NTC Promenade at Liberty Station August 16-18, 2013. After a year off, the revamped concert and film festival will feature headliners Cake, Talib Kweli and Best Coast. Multiple music stages will also highlight over 75 local  and/or touring acts. The festival’s emphasis on diversity continues to make it one of San Diego’s most popular events. It’s also a rare opportunity for local acts to share a bill with bigger names.
