Local Songwriters Come Together for “Songwriters for Sandy” Benefit
December 2012
Last Friday, several of San Diego’s finest songwriters came together to raise money in support of Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Organized by Dawn Mitschele, the event took place at Mueller College in University Heights. The result was over $800 raised, and an even stronger sense of community spirit amongst the local songwriters. It’s definitely events like these that make San Diego one of the most supportive and community-oriented music scenes. Bravo to all the participants for sharing their musical gifts for a great cause!
