The Sunday Song Circle is back!
Grab your unplugged instrument, your pickin’ chair and a few friends and join us on the patio at Pamo Valley Winery on Main Street in Ramona from 2pm to 5pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month (except for May, when we’ll be gathering on 4th Sunday). Free to attend and open to all ages, styles, and abilities. The Listen Local Song Circles are a great way to hone your skills, try out new songs, or just commune with others in a comfy, shady, wine adjacent location with easy parking. Beginning in April, Listen Local in partnership with The Art Center Ramona, will host a spoken word/poetry night on the last Wednesday of each month. Open to all for a suggested $5 cover, the event will start at 6pm so folks have time to put their name in the hat to read. We’ll draw to determine the order and at 7pm we’ll break to introduce our featured guest. April’s featured guest is Emily Stamets who is an incredible story teller. After Emily we’ll resume pulling names until everyone has had a chance to share their story or poem. The night is sponsored in part by Pamo Valley Winery so there will be wine available as well as water and light snacks. If you have any questions, please holler at me!
