Here is what’s happening in May in Listen Local Land!

A Maker’s Market where all of the vendors are the musicians who are playing sets during 2pm and 8pm on the patio at Pamo Valley Winery in Ramona. Join the Calamity trio in Julian at the historic Watershed venue on Sunday, May 4th from noon to 3pm. We’ll be performing outdoors under the oak and pine and sunshine! Delicious food and more, explore now.

Join us in Ramona on a beautiful Saturday morning to make shaker instruments! It’s free and fun for all ages. You must RSVP at Eventbrite then just show up and let’s get shaking!

This month’s SUNDAY SONG CIRCLE falls on my birthday eve and you’re invited to strum, sing, sip and celebrate! Bring a pick’n chair and your unplugged instrument and jump in the circle to sing and play along with others. 2pm to 5pm, all ages and abilities are welcomed.

Poetry and Spoken Word fans have a new monthly date as I’ll be hosting an open mic for storytellers and poets on the last Wednesday of every month. Arrive by 6pm to get your name in the hat ($5 suggested donation keeps the show alive!) and we’ll begin drawing names for 5 min sets at 6:15. At 7pm our featured guest will step up to the podium. After, we’ll continue drawing names until 8pm. Pamo Valley Winery is sponsoring this event and you can get a glass of their incredible wine for a suggested $5 donation as well as tea, water and snacks.
