Gregory Page to perform Friday at Museum of Making Music

December 2014

From The Museum of Making Music:

The Museum is proud to welcome back the always-vintage-smartly-dressed Gregory Page. This unique English-born Irish/Armenian musician creates oddly compelling songs that are full of cinematic melodies. Gregory Page has the gift to observe life and to capture this in a realistic, sensitive, yet humorous way in his lyrics. This concert celebrates his new album, “One Way Journey Home.”

On Page’s previous albums you could hear the nostalgia for the twenties of the last century – the loving odes to the earliest jazz. On his latest album recorded by Jason Mraz, Page enters into the Celtic footsteps of his Irish grandfather. This concert is a celebration of this new album which has been met with critical acclaim and packed theaters in The Netherlands. Mr. Page returns home from three month tour overseas to bring stories, new songs and poetry to the Museum of Making Music.

Mr. Page will be joined by the very talented Tom Brosseau for a special evening of captivating music.
