Brian Holwerda and his SDMA-nominated band Blackout Party are hitting the road in October, only not for a tour. This particular journey has one goal and one destination in sight: recording a new album at Nashville’s Southern Ground studio, owned by alt-country superstar Zac Brown.

Needless to say, Holwerda is very excited about the opportunity. “It’s an amazing place, 48 tracks to 2 inch tape on a vintage Neve board…going to sound HUGE!”

While you wait for the new disc to be completed, check out more of Blackout Party’s music below and visit their website at http://www.blackoutpartymusic.com/.
