Kerrville New Folk Notes

November 2014

Hello Troubadour Friends!

Lindsay here, back from a fun-filled week in Texas hill country performing with my fellow 2014 Kerrville New Folk winners. Since I’m still feeling overwhelmed and fortunate for the opportunity to perform with so many talented people over the last several days, I thought I’d share some of their songs with you and hopefully turn you on to one or more of these fantastic songwriters! Check out these wonderful videos from a Concert Window performance that was filmed live at Blue Rock Artist Ranch and Studio in Wimberley, TX.

Caroline Spence – Nashville, TN – “Whiskey Watered Down”

Frank Martin Gilligan – Tomball, TX – “I Remember Who She Is”

Matt Nakoa – Brooklyn, NY – “The Ballad of Jenny Kane”

C. Daniel Boling – Albuquerque, NM – “Dorothy”

Connor Garvey – Portland, ME – “Old House”

The Lovebirds – San Diego, CA – “Volcano, My Volcano”

Hope we did you proud, San Diego! If you’d like to watch the free rebroadcast of this concert in entirety, tune in here on Tuesday at 5:30pm PST.
